Both Foresters had their tint done at Auto Trim Design in Tukwila. It is a 3M charcoal
tint. http://www.autotrimseattle.com/subca...y=73&subcat=51

I finished installing both 8" subs in the side pockets so I'll have pix up soon. Next up is the amp and door speakers. I can't wait to crank some tunes!

Last night I used my Accessport and flashed the anti-theft map as my base, and I'm running the real time stage 1 map. I only drove it for 10 minutes, but power does seem to come on earlier. I should get a better feel for it this weekend.

Now if someone tried to steal the car I'm better protected. If they cut the power to defeat the alarm, the ECU will revert to the anti-theft map. It should help deter most criminals looking for a quick get in a go job.

^ Sweet man, mine is on it's way...

If you disconnect your battery (or loose power for some strange reason) you will loose your RT map and the car will be well dead do to the anti theft....what if it happens when you don't have your AP on ya........

I'd wouldn't recommend it....flash stage 1 as the base, then if you are gonna leave your car and you are worried flash the Anti Theft - i only did that once when I left it at an airport.....

I cary my AP in my bag for work. Since I park at a park and ride and about 75% of the cars reported stolen in the city are from such areas I want to be safe. I'm only trying it out right now until I go to stage 2 in a few weeks.

When I go stage 2 I'll run that as the base and RT map, and install the RT anti-theft and valet maps as needed.

If I get a new job before I get laid off from my old one then I'll be installing a VF39 and STi TMIC along with the up/down pipes.

Today I swapped my full size spare for a donut, then made a location for my amp (foam tray) and I finished putting my rear hatch together. I also added a whiteline QR strut bar on Thursday. THe car now handles better and is much quieter. Next up is to RAAMmat the doors and repalce the speakers.

On April 18th I headed 173 miles south, down to PRE in Portland to have some work done.

They installed an STi exhaust manifold and uppipe, a Cobb downpipe, an STi TMIC and a ported VF39. After the installed Subie master Bobby tuned the ride to 280whp/312wtq. The car is MUCH more enjoyable now. It is almost scary how much faster it is. New pix are posted above in the "XT Engine section"!
