^Yup. I prefer the evenly spaced spokes design too, though the Gears didn't look bad at all. I'll shoot you a pic via PM sometime.

Haha yeah..
Sizes* Offset (mm) Bolt Pattern Bolt Pattern 2** Weight (lbs)

17x7.0 5-100 25.5

I would've gotten 18s too if they had 5x100 :(

I wish we had 5x114 too... so many options!!!

I was off a bit with the weight, but the Gears are very heavy.
The 18's weight 29lbs, and the 17's weigh 25.5.

I believe the Speed wheels weigh about the same as stock 17" wheels.

Hey mate. Can I ask, which Rota wheels are you on. Thinking of going for the same alloys. Cheers

Tre36 came over today and we finished up my brakes! I really love the look and feel of them. I went with Racing Brake BBK on the rear (290 vs 266 stock) and stock size front rotors, with Hawks pads and Super Blue fluid. I stayed with stock size up front so I could still run my 16" winter wheels/tires. I'll have some pix up soon.

It has only been 2 days, so I'm still getting a feel for them but I'm really liking them so far. I went with Hawk HPS pads, and they definitely have better bite than the OEM pads. They have also been very quiet too which I'm very happy about. Pedal feel is nice and solid, and the slight vibration/pulsing I had before is now totally gone.

The best part of the new setup is the entire braking system now has a more balanced feel. There is less nose dive during hard stops, and it just feels like the rears are doing much more work. My OEM front pads had less than 10% left, while the rears had a good 70% left. It tells me the stock setup is extremely front bias. The BBK on the rears seems to have shifted that balance a bit, and to me thats a good thing.

I picked up my newest addition today, a prodrive Oval Tip axelback! It is going to replace my STi axelback. I loved the STi muffler when I had the TD04, it sounded great, but with the protuned VF39 it gets a little raspy and I feel it is restricting flow a bit.

When my new Curt trailer hitch arrives next week I'll install them both at the same time. I currently have a hidden hitch and the crossbar protudes a slight bit into the muffler cutout and the Prodrive tip hits it, even with XL hangers. I wanted a hitch on both Foresters, so I'm going to put the hidden hitch onto the X, and Curt onto the XT. The Curt is shaped differently in the muffler area and it will not interfere with the tip.

Arthrogrian19 is coming up soon and my STi axelback is going to go onto his new FSXT!
