Did you notice a diff with the rallitek tranny insert? Does it add more cabin noise and did you do the soft (comfort) or hard (race) insert? I bought the race hard insert and sold it a week later and never installed it.

I did the soft and yes there is a little extra noise but nothing like groupn mounts those are way worse then this.the extra noise is mainly under boost and is pretty minimal I wouldn't do the race one.install was easy one wack with a dead blow hammer and in was in

I have the hard/race version insert coming tomorrow and we will see how hard that one is. Does it seem to tighten up shifts a good bit?

The install SUCKED though- I don't know how you used a dead blow hammer in only one fell swoop, did you clamp the tranny mount in a vise and then just slam the insert in there? It took me around 2 hours to cram the hard insert into the stock tranny mount, using two clamps, a hammer, and a couple of flat head screwdrivers.

What kind of noise is created with this mod? I'd be interested in crisper shifts but not too much noise. It's a decently cheap mod and easy enough to do as well.
What about the mount on top of the tranny that looks like a little arm below the intercooler? worth a swap out for something stiffer?

Thats not too bad. Now the question is soft or hard? Does soft make enough difference to get it or go straight for the hard. Hopefully no one reads just this post and misinterprets the meaning:o

I would go with the soft cause it does make a diff. And I don't think The car could handle the extra vibration from the race.Right now it's just a mild vibration under load say around 2200rpm's+ which is tolerable

What about above 2200 or below. Is it just one area that causes the vibration.
