Sounds nice. Has to be better matched since you can get specific springs for each pressure range. Im glad to know the gfb isnt my issue. Ill probably swap it back on the foz. I miss the obnoxious psshhht.
Edit: in light of my above post, I just went out and swapped back to the gfb.:D

Yeah the modded stocker works just fine but im not a fan of afterfire and compressor surge that comes along with it not that it hurts anything really. The forge is awsome and responce is spot on i actually swapped in the blue spring which is rated up to 30psi and it still idles great and has no surge or afterfire from being stiff i love it.

Awesome. You know, I pretty much run the gfb full atmos. all the time and I hardly ever get any afterfire. It may be cause my system is so open. Riding in mnkidds foz he gets backfire much more often than I do and hes got the cat and resonator still there.

it gets more afterfire at 50/50...and by afterfire I mean the cops will pull you over because of fireballs exiting the tailpipes.

![]() Thats something to be proud of. So youre saying 50/50 gives more after fire than 100% open or closed? I hardly ever do 50/50. usually one way or the other. Looking into that hard tranny mount mod. Wonder if it's worth it? Thoughts?

it does for me. and I have not gotten a ticket just a heads up by the cop. he was cool about it. I don't think there is anything against the law for shooting fireballs from your exhaust.

I actually forgot how much i hated the dealer i bought my car from because they screwed my wife over on her mitsubishi so i called another local suby dealer to find out that they have a special on the tranny flush for $109 vs the $207 my dealer wanted so needless to say i know were i will be getting any dealer work done in the future. They are getting a shipment of the seatbelts in for the recal on friday so i think i will be doing it saturday. Then i will get the rear diff oil from them and do it at my buddy's shop.

Looks like i need to hardwire my 300lph pump sooner then later because i just maxed it out on a new map revision with more boost im getting idc as high as 100% on my 2nd gear pulls in 10* weather boost is around 23.5psi in 2nd. The good news is the smile on my face was ear to ear while doing my 2nd gear pulls and as it spins all the tires all the way through 2nd gear from 3k rpm till redline lol. I want to thank corn for making 30mph rolling awd burn outs possible.

I hope not i think hard wire should drop it back 10% and if thats not enough then new lines and rails will have to go in. The problem being that the next size up in a bosch style injector is 2000cc and they are very pricey and would be way overkill. If i can just get my pump and lines to give the best pressure possible i will get all i full potential out of the id1000 and it should be more then enough for 26psi on the 20g on e85.

Hey nate,
When youre cruising on the hwy in 4th and go wot does it feel like there is clutch slippage? My motor gets full boost etc but it feels like its slipping a bit in 4th cause the motor's going crazy but I dont feel like all the power is getting down to the wheels. Im not saying theres any issue but just that the tq conveter seems to slip a bit(in my mind). In 3rd I have no feeling of slipping so I just downshift before flooring it. Just wondered if it was like that on yours too. May be too tall a gear for that much power.
