So i just sold the vf52 a guy drove from new jersey 2.5hrs to buy it cash $700. But the bad news is my damn turbo inlet wont be in till next wednesday which sucks. I mounted the turbo and the oil feed and coolent lines just waiting for the inlet to mount the tmic, downpipe and oil return on the lift. I think i may take this time to mount my oil catch cans so i can route the hoses when the inlet comes.

Still waiting for the inlet to come in should be wednesday. But while i was waiting i got the turbo blanket on and the turbo mounted with all the new stainless steel lines. I also modified some ebay catch cans with some 3/8'' tubing to resemble the perrin cans internally and put some filtering media inside. I have them all mounted as well im just waiting to hook them up till i get the inlet in. I am going to stop by and check on the car tomorrow i will take some snap shots of the progress this far.

That stuff looks like it fit pretty decent. It'll smoke for a day or three till it gets used to being that hot. Its fun to stop at a red light for the first few hours of driving and have smoke billow out the intercooler intake......like a dragon..lol.

Well after many hours i finally got it all together and running the hardest part was fitting the new perrin inlet it was really tight and getting it on the turbo proved to be a pain. I just have to burp the coolent and tighty some stuff tomorow and its ready to tune. So new edition is the 20g, perrin inlet, dual catch cans and a gimmick throttle body coupler with t clamps. Will post finished picks tomorow!!!

Awesome, congratulations! I want to hear some stories about how it runs.(more specifically, how it runs with "fast" cars next to it.

Wow, your Forester is turning into a monster sleeper, as if it's not already a monster sleeper. I want some rolling AWD burnout vids please.

We are a bunch of people here in Sweden that are following your every move. Is the turbo a good deal? :)
And you are running this on a stock ej255, stock pistons and rods? :) Patrick

Yup stock ej255 pistons and rods. So far the turbo seems to be to good to be true but i hve not really tested the waters yet. I got a base map last night and cleaned up eveything on the install so it is good to go. I am going to flash the base map today so i can check for leaks befor the real tune happens. I got it up to around 10psi at 3400 rpm just to hear it a little and it sounds awsome and whistles like a turbo diesel lol. Any body know a safe way to remove all the spilled coolant on the motor because its smoking and smells really bad. I was thinking washing the motor off with my hose at low pressure while it was off and letting it dry completly befor starting it?
