My name is Tyler and I am currently a Sophomore in college majoring in Psychology at the University of Toledo. I plan on going to get a Psy D and become an Art Therapist! So basically I'll be in school forever, so money is tight. Currently I work in the retail business at a local flower shop. It sucks, but its a job which are hard to come by.
I love my foz, and her name is Kermit. She is a 2001 SF L in Acadia Green Metallic, but pretty much giving her every upgrade that I can! I absolutely LOVE my foz, and want to keep it forever (just like the commercial lol). One of these days I'll list all my mods..... but not tonight! First Pic I really have of her (and THE best parking spot at my school, reserved for faculty) ![]() Before I started modding her (picture from early summer) ![]() I do enjoy using the AWD ![]() ![]() As she sits today 11/14 ![]()

lol do you know how to get them to show on the forum? Yeah I like it! White would look pretty good on yours since its white, I really like the white on white look.
You might have to sand yours a little since its a smoother surface then mine was

It was really simple... I didnt even plan on doing it! I was looking at paint for my rims, and that happened to be next to it.... So step 1, buy the paint (I used the Just for Plastics, Mike is using the trim paint (http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...8/index23.html)
I used automotive tape so that it wouldn't rip the paint or anything off to mask off the area, did 2 layers at the bottom to be careful, and then did the newspaper. The interior sills are tricky because there are lots of little crevices you have to make sure you mask off. Then I just painted! Hahaha It's just spray paint, so it went on rather easy. Just make sure not to go too fast! Honestly, It was pretty easy.. I would give it a 2/10 difficulty rating! Just make sure your careful to mask everything that you dont want painted!

Nice! Thanks for the tips. Did you use primer at all? I always thought primer was necessary for painting stuff.

No I didn't. I didn't really find it necessary to prime it before hand....

Did this awhile ago... (Before painting my bumper, but after I painted the Forester bumper guard) but figured I would add it on here. This was also an easy mod, just de-badged the SUBARU emblem, lightly sanded it (2000 wet or dry, I did it wet) and then painted with the Rustolem Just for plastics spray paint. Then reattached with some 3M double-sided foam tape.
Reason for painting: The wrap on some of the letters of peeling and it was driving me crazy! Before I sanded, I peeled as much of the wrap off as possible! After Painting: ![]() On the Hatch: ![]()

I can't see the pictures. I read on another forum (or maybe it was this one) that you can't directly link pictures from Flickr anymore. I tried it on another forum and I had to use Photobucket instead.

Flickr hasn't worked for me for months. I believe they removed the option. Try using Photobucket like edwing said.
