Default Matt's Journey to low 'n slow - 2004 FXT

Welp, it's been a long year, but I'm finally back in an FXT.
I picked this up from another member on here with 113k miles on the clock.
All required maintenance is done and it's in great condition.

If some of you may recall, my last 04 got totalled after being hit by an old lady during the terrible New England weather we had last year.
To my mistake, I bought a WRX shortly after and quickly realized I made a big mistake. Sold that 2 months ago and now I'm back and ready to pick up from where I left off.

This car is also CalamityConcept's old FXT.
It started it's life in CT and now I brought it back and ready to finish what I started 2 years ago.

Here's the mod list as I picked it up:

KYB GR2 WRX Sedan Struts GONE
2005 STI black springs GONE
Paranoid Fabrication 3/8 saggy butt spacers GONE
SPT STI catback exhaust with longer hangers GONE
SPT STI intake GONE
Curt Hitch
2004 STI BBS painted black GONE
JDM STi hood scoop
STI Pedals
03 and under rear wiper mod

With the exception of the JDM Hood scoop none of these parts will be staying on the car anytime soon.

That being said here's what I plan on doing:

ISC N1 coilovers CHECK
Wide wheels CHECK
Tires
Adapters
Cobb Replica Catback CHECK
Catless STi uppipe
Stock airbox (not a fan of intakes) CHECK
Short shifter
STi Mikey stage 1 (maybe 2 with supporting mods) tune.
Retrofit HID projectors
DIY grill
OEM rear wing
LGT brake upgrade

The car is going to be a slammed, reliable, daily driver.
Eventually I'll start looking into power mods, but that's highly unlikely since I'm in college with no job.

Here's a pic from today after picking it up.
Drove 85 miles from NYC to North Haven and loved every minute of it (even the traffic jams)

Thanks man. It definitely is. Very little blemishes on the car and I couldn't be happier. The suspension rides nice for what it is but I want slammed fitment.
The previous owner only clocked 8000 miles within the last year. He took the train to work.

Put the momo shift knob I had in the car last night

Me neither the wheel gap is killing me.
Right now I'm stumped on what wheels to get. I'm a very picky person and given the fact the car is silver I'm trying to figure out what would look good

I'm a firm believer in getting real wheels (no offense to the rota and xxr people) so this is going to be a long process

not much of an update.
car's still not registered, but took it down my street and snapped some real pics.
I'm convinced that something's wrong with my camera seeing as how the pics come out terribly and there's so much grain and noise (despite the ISO being at 200). Didn't do this before and my editing style hasn't changed. But oh well, excuses.

Man, looks nice! Perfect stance. Love the simplicity of the Jdm scoop and the clean silver on black style.
