How did you like those lower rear strut bolts? Don't they just make you want to choke the engineer that put them there?

Struts were the easy part. 45 mins later and they were all 4 assembled and installed.

Those are not too bad compared to the lateral link bolts. Now that is a poor design!

I did manage to pull the front control arms off and while pressing out the bushings I bent the drivers control arm!

Needless to say the car is down awaiting a deal on a replacement or sti aluminum arms.

Here they are. Tony at TiC pressed in the bushing for me this time so I would not bend them!

I cut the washers for body clearance.

As those of you know who have been following the build of the Gray Goose Pam and I have decided to throw a complete suspension swap at it along with some new wheels. Along the way I had some growing pains when taking apart the suspension and well ****ed some items up. It happens.

As one member calls it a "forced upgrade" was in order. We have completed the following new modifications.

Turn in Concepts Trailing arm bushings.
Turn in Concepts Lateral link bushings.
Whiteline caster control arm bushings.
Whiteline forward control arm bushings.
07 STI aluminum control arms.
KYB GR2 WRX Wagon struts.
2006 WRX Sedan Springs.
McGard Red tipped lug nuts
2010 STI take off tires with no miles (245/40/18)
18x9.5+38 Rota T2R HyperBlack
3mm rear spacers.
Fender rolling job from Tony at TiC
Alignment from TiC

Now to the photos. I have seemed to misplace my charger for my DSLR so for now you get camera phone photos...all 5Megapixel's worth!
