Nothing for the time being, but I plan to relocate a few items there, and buy a Boost, EGT and Trans Temp gauge. Then I will also add the remote airbag lights to this area and a dark tinted piece of glass to give the gauges a stealth look.

The final piece of the puzzle....for now.
I picked up a complete STI header and up pipe from a friend locally. Since my XT has the same up pipe, I listed it for sale and sold the STI up pipe. The STI header is already tapped for an EGT probe so I will wait on installing the STI header until the EGT gauge is sourced.

Where exactly is the EGT bung placed, somewhere near the o2 sensor or closer to the exhaust ports?

Lately, I have been posting all of my mods in my journal but I feel the need on this round to say thank you to Mike(FXTSports08). Mike went above and beyond in helping me gather some of the parts below for my next round of mods.
Recently, I added a Clarion VX400 DVD indash unit to my 2007 FSXT. After installing it, I decided I wanted to remote mount it to the top of the dash for future plans to add the navi and back up camera options. Mike went above and beyond to help with this by looking at the wiring diagrams, building a curcuit and then offering to send it to me. A few pics of that thread are here; DVD top mounted into dash? And a quick snap hot of the wiring is here ![]() Notice the red/black wiring on either side of the center piece. This is something Mike and I also discussed and he included. I hope to add the blue LEDs to my map lights for a light blue glow like my 2010X's interior has. Thanks again Mike for all of the help. Next up is the new to me used whiteline 24MM fsb. I picked this up from TiC today along with 2 of their new Beanies. You will notice the Pink beanie above, which is for wifey Pam_Cakes. ![]() Here is a photo of our beanies together. ![]() Look for an install thread or check my journal for updates on the wiring and the FSB.

Today, the plan was to go out and work on my forester. It snowed last night and has been cold, really cold. I woke up with the goal to figure out exactly what a newly developed noise was, and how to fix it.
I had an appointment today at my local dealership to have them swap out #1 injector. I had several P0301 misfire codes and poor idle issues. The tech thinks its the injector hanging and ordered a new one for replacement. While at the dealer, the other tech recommended that they check compession on that cylinder. Once the plug was pulled, it was certain that it was dumping too much fuel. Compression check showed around 135 so that was good, and a relief. ![]() ![]() The tech began to swap the injector, which required draining some of the coolant. The car went up on a lift and we were discussing the noise. He noticed that my heat/dust shield was bent and it was rubbing the rotor. A quick bend of it and all was good. He even tightened up my loose endlink too! After a short time, the old injector was out and the new one was in. Car fired up and seems to idle good, really good. Next up will be remote locating the DVD unit and running the cables for the back up camera. Stay TUNED!

Today, I set out to install the 27mm Front Sway Bar I picked up from TiC. This went smoothly, since I feel I am a fsb expert when it comes to swapping this. Pics to come.
Next up was the ebay BMW back up camera. This has turned into a larger job than I expected. Im pretty anal about fitment and running the wires to where they are hidden. This is an ongoing project as I type this and I need to make a run to the store for a few overlooked supplies. Pice to come when its complete.

Stay tuned!
