GraffitiChris07's 2010 FXT

Hey people. I recently bought a 2010 Forester XT Premium. It is Camelia Red Pearl. I bought it in early December of 2016 off of a dealership in Woodville Ohio. 3rd owner and completely stock. Being stock is something I'm really not use to. This is my 3rd Subaru. My first was a 2002 WRB WRX wagon. Its was hit by 2 kids that stole a truck and ran into my car, and then TRIED to run, they didn't get too far. My second was a 2004 PSM WRX sedan. Was going on 171k miles and a bearing locked up that ran the timing belt. And, there was a little bit of damage. So I was in the market for a newer car. I knew I wanted something bigger than my wrx. I'm a bigger guy and have a 3 year old so climbing in and out to get her in her car seat sucked. I knew I wanted to stay with a Subaru and have always like wagons. I started looking into FXT's and OXT's. I found a few but nothing I loved. Then I found it!

Its completely stock with 125k miles.

Upcoming Modifications-
Wheels(still have wheels off of my WRX)
Intake
Cobb Accessport(maybe)

Bought but needs installed-
STi Front sway Bar
2011 WRX Suspension
2013 WRX upper control arms
3/8" Subtle Solutions "Saggy Butt" Spacers
18x7.5 Rays Gram Lights 57s

Installed-
Blackhoused headlights by VisionzLights
Yellow LEDs for Fog Lights
WRX Exhaust

Forgot, found an STi Front sway bar on ebay for a killer price and picked it up.

Haven't purchased yet, but I am emailing someone right now on pics, price, and when to meet up. So, pretty soon!

while theyll all (08-14) work as you probably know...the ones found on 2011-2014 models are a bit of an improvement, as far as spring rates. something to consider.

again, not a deal breaker...but just wanted to mention.

UPDATE!!

So, I won a give away on Instagram for an LED light kit for my previous Subaru. Well, he was out and it didn't get shipped. A couple months went by and i purchased my FXT and i sent him a message. I told him if he had a kit for the FXT, id like to have it, if not, ill still take the kit for the WRX and give it to my friend that bought my WRX. He said he would see what he can put together. A few weeks went by and he messaged me out of nowhere. He apologized for not getting my LED kit out sooner. He apologized for keeping it going on for so long. He said he wants to keep his customers happy and he offered me a deal. He said, if i send him my headlights, he will black house them, and convert my DRL's to LED's for free. He also said he would pay shipping both ways. He said he wanted to make it up to me for not sending the first kit out to me.

I was pumped. I love how black housed headlights look in SH foresters. So, tomorrow I am planning on taking them out and getting them packed up to be shipped to him Monday, I hope!

I'll keep you guys updated!!!

I'm excited to see the conversion! Keep an eye out for an STi rear sway bar. They sell for cheap used and make a decent bit of difference in roll for the SH! BTW congrats on the 3rd subie! I'm only on my second one but I have been a turbo'd sub driver for 10 years and love the brand.

***A little update***

Purchased a new Grill, Not the Sport Grill but I happy with the price I paid. Also bought some new LED fog light bulbs and are waiting to put them in along with my grill.

Headlights are getting pulled soon(see post #9 ), had a few things pop up so my headlight job has been pushed back a little. I think I will install the grill and lights when my headlights get back!

Still waiting on suspension. Have to sell a part off of my 04 WRX before I can buy the newer suspension.

So if anyone is looking for a Rally Innovations Light Bar with 4 LED Light Bars on it for an 02-07 Impreza, let me know! HAHA!
