Default Forester STI

So I finally got my hands on a car I have always wanted - MY06 Forester STI

Originally I planned on keeping it stock, but in the end I couldn't resist tinkering and modding various parts of the car.

Mod List So far (because a build is never quite done)

Suspension/Handling
Next on the agenda,
- Stock STI shocks and springs
- Stock STI ARB
- Stock Links

Wheels/tires
Stock Wheels and tires at the moment but looking for some O.Z lightweight wheels or anything aggressive looking..

Brakes
Stock Brembo disks and pads.

Power/Engine Bay
- 3" Milltek Turbo-back exhaust system
- N10 TMIC
- Turbosmart BOV
- Samco Hoses, Red and Blue
- Red Turbo inlet Hose
- K&N Typhoon air intake system
- Radiator cover
- Painted alternator shroud

Interior/Electronics
- Pioneer Headunit
- Pioneer speakers all round
- Pioneer sub
- STI All Weather Mats
- HKS Turbo Timer

Exterior
- Sti front bumper Lip
- VW inspired painted grill surround
- Forester badge removed

How it looks so far:

Updates coming soon..!!!

The car is not lowered but the added front lip makes it touch on certain roads.

So today had to get some bumps adjusted to be TOP-FOZ Compliant ;) :D

The centre console came with some really depressing CF vinyl, which turnout to be hiding alot of damage/scratches.
So decided to refurbish and paint it Black. In my opinion it looks better than the original greyish colour.

I recently got a massive crack on my exhaust :x ( which is still the restrictive stock on ) so did a quick welding job while awaiting a full Milltek 3" exhaust system.. :D :D

So when I changed the Head unit I went ahead and changed all the speakers but after awhile i felt I needed some more...................BASS.. Not window shattering bass but just a little bit more of a thump.
So I went for a 13" Pioneer bass tube.

Installation begins

Got a Kenwood Amp as well installed under the passenger seat.

You know the wiring had to be red to match the theme

Job Completed 8-) :D

I think it looks pretty clean

I also finally got round to tinting the windows, It was meant to be dark but not too dark but because of the factory darkened glass its almost impossible to see inside.

Stage 1 of my build is completed with the installation of a new exhaust system. After some research decided to go for a full 3" Milltek system. Its brilliant, not so loud which I was looking for but you definitely feel the difference.

Work begins

Intercooler off

My stock exhaust is still in very good shape so I would consider sensible offers for it.

:D :D :D

So I have been having leaking problems with one of my headlights, I have had it cleaned and sealed several times but it still fogs up.

So decided to bite the bullet and go for a new one. First finding it was near impossible but managed to find someone with a nose cut and convinced him to give me one light.
And man it wasnt cheap... :x

So the work began..

So I drove the car home and noticed people kept looking at the headlights, I just thought it was because they were brand new and looked good!!! :) :) ,..But turns out they were starring because the headlights were different, totally didn't notice till I got home. Serial numbers were the same and everything looked proper.

Right side one has a chrome housing but the original ones have a black housing.. Debated whether to keep it like that but in the end decided to swap my good light for the same chrome housed headlight.

So this is how it looks now.. Originally i loved the evil looking lights but the more Blingy chrome lights are growing on me.
