Default Forester L going Full STI swap

*have pics but I have not met the 15 post minimum...working on that =)

Started a Fozzy project last week, so I thought I'd start my journal going through all the phases.

SUBJECT: 1999 Forester L
GOAL: Full STI swap

3/25/2011 6:00pm-10:45pm:
Task: Completely gut out interior, enginebay, suspension, and gas tank.

Completed: STI gas tank, STI hubs, rearend, struts, Brembos

Phone Teaser Pic:

3/26/2011 9am-11:30pm
Task: Run wire harness. Test fit dash, modify and complete install

Completed: Whiteline 24mm front swaybar, wire harness, and dash. Removed bumper stickers
[Before: Forester Interior]

[After: STI]

*With few modifications the interior fit like a glove. HELLA FLUSH!!!

4/30: UPDATE
Finalized engine build plans: Decided to fully build the motor so I just ordered Carrillo Hrods and Darton sleeves.

Heads are done: ported and polished, intake and exhaust 1mm oversized, Cosworth 272 cams and BC springs and retainers.

Decided to go with a Percision rotated turbo setup.

Purchased suspension components: decided to go 27mm Whiteline sways instead of the 24mm previously installed. BC ER series coilovers are on the way.

Purchased and installed 18x9.5 Rota DPT (PICS Soon)

5/09/2011:
Rods, Pistons, valve springs were sent off to get "Cryo-Rem".

Thanks. In the process of rebuilding the engine and deciding the turbo setup. Guesstimating ~350 whp.

Been a while since any progress was made. Decided to fully build the motor so I just ordered Carrillo Hrods and Darton sleeves.
