Looking good! I really like what you did on the tails with the dark middle section. Did you apply red outs for the rest of tails then cut out a small piece of smoke tint for the middle section?

Thanks! I applied red pieces along the outside edges of the lights in effort to cover the chrome inner housing. Then I cut a small smoke piece to cover the middle.

Thanks, man, glad you think so. I'm using a Canon Rebel T3i and my go to lense is usually a 1.8f 50mm

Right on man, I may have to apply a darker tint just on the middle section. I like the way yours turned out. Mine currently has a light tint over the entire tailight.

That 1.8 50mm and 35mm were my go to lens for while. Best bang for your buck lens!

Agreed. What wrap did you go with for the fogs? That OEM grille is a nice option compared to the vinyl wraps everyone has been doing so far. Great build so far.

Yeah too bad the mesh sports grille is ridiculously overpriced. Also wish it was a true mesh style grille and not the honeycomb.

It is. I like the design of it a little more. The honeycomb is a ***** to clean though.

Ah, ya, I like the thought of that setup. Will probably turn out looking pretty good.

Update: Started this project today.

RFS Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III D2S w/ XBALED Angel Eyes and Apollo 2.0 Shrouds

Stock USDM FXT headlight

Good news, the amber reflector is easily removable. Leaves a small opening though.

Testing the setup. Will have to do some trimming of the shroud as well as the back of the low beam reflector bowl. Should be minimal though.
