What I do is I mask the area off, apply Plastidip, and remove the tape while the Plastidip is still wet. For the second coat, I mask off all the same areas again. It is just too difficult to keep the Plastidip from peeling up with the tape.

Heres a preview of something new I am working on.
I picked up two sample pieces of Acrylic on Black Friday for 50 cents each free shipping!

Just scored what I think was an amazing deal. Give you a full run down when I get home. Right now I'm picking up rails!

Darn. I should of deleted that Facebook post. But ya. I was saving for a complete audio upgrade, but I was set back after I saw what I thought was an amazing deal.
3 Good condition Enkei RPF1s. 17x7.5 +48 offset 5x100. I paid only $270 for them! ![]() I think this is a good deal I thought that there was surface rust and curb rash, but there is no surface rust, and very small curb rash. This rash is so small i cant tell if it is just paint or the metal. Here are the pictures. Now I need to buy another one to finish the set. One new one costs... $239 on Tire rack. Darn so almost as much as I paid for all 3 ![]()

So my dad got a new lathe. For people who dont know, a lathe is a machine that spins a wood or metal and you carve into it. Anyway, I want to make my own shift knob, so I made a prototype today. I think I might make it in a different wood though. I got inspired to do this after looking at Matt's journal here: Shift Knob
Heres the prototype. ![]() I think it looks good. It does not match anything in my interior, but hey who cares!

Haha Thanks. I saw It and thought he wanted $270 each. I was really wondering if by chance this was a typo or something but then he told me that is was for all 3. I really couldn't turn this down.
Now I have zero dollars and need to buy the last wheel and four tires before anything else. Sets back my modding a little bit, but Ill be working my butt of this upcoming winter break.

Interested to see how the GR seats go into your Foz. I know it become a pretty involved process for someone I was reading about a while back. They look sweet though!

Thanks for the interest. I got the rails from Jake (k3nj11) yesterday. Now I need to clean them up and fit them in. Alot harder than it sounds.

Alright so Today I ordered the last Wheel to complete my set off Oakos.
The only reason why I'm putting this in my journal is that this is the official mark where I have passed $1000 spent on my car. ![]() $1000 spent and it doesn't seem like my car has changed that much from stock at all, but I've come to love and appreciate my Fozz so much more. I'm ready to see how much it will change in the next $1000. |
