I know I know, I cheated with the tire and the gas, but I don't have a rack right now. I actually have a lot of video too, but I am waiting to put that together some other time.

Great trail. Where is it?

The Bonneville Point turnoff to the Oregon Trail outside Boise, Idaho, it splits off to several different routes and has some pretty difficult parts.

Eventually I got to this narrow area that I couldn’t go up or down the hill, the rain had washed out this cut about 24” tall, and it was JUST after I recorded, I would have reset the camera if I knew what was going to happen. I had to get on diagonal tires, the FR and RL, and eventually gravity took over as I inched forward and the car weight tipped from the RR to the FL, it was almost EXACTLY like something you would see in a Land Rover commercial! But I didn’t get to record it, and there was no way in hell I could have done that kind of approach angle in reverse. So I said screw it and kept moving.

After looking around the forum I'm doing research on some roof racks, lift kits, and a quality sump guard. This could get expensive. :(

Ha! that's lucky peak dam in the distance in the 3 pic. nice. I've never been on those trails over there. Cool rig you got there. Surprised I've never seen it around town.

Yes it is! That was about 25 miles in, and a couple wrong turns later. I'll be back in December if you want to meet up and go offroading.

Very nice, looks great!!!

I yellowed mine using a stained glass paint (found at most arts/crafts stores). It is holding up pretty well. If you are concerned about chipping or fading you can simple clearcoat or use a clear light film.

Carb cleaner will take it off and you can apply a fresh coat every season.

You can also get yellow light film.
