Hello all,
2013 Forester here, naturally aspirated, 4EAT. Got it a couple months ago and took it Python hunting today in the Everglades (didn't see or catch one, hehe). ![]() ![]() Bolted on the Primitive front skid plate this morning before heading out (will get around to bolting on the tranny and diff covers another day)..... ![]() Cheers. |

Congrats on the Forester purchase, I think I have the same vehicle, 2013 2.5x auto tranny, Satin White Pearl, Alloy wheel package, and I just installed all three skidplates from Primitive racing!

Thanks for the welcomes.
My first auto tranny vehicle in many years. Knee surgery ended my daily driving with a manual transmission. Was drawn to this car for its ground clearance and I've owned a Subaru product in the past which I really enjoyed ('05 Saabaru, Stage II power modifications and some suspension/brake/tire upgrades for track days). |

Yes, one look under the engine bay, seeing those exhaust manifolds so exposed, thought to myself that they should be protected somewhat. Called just to get the front plate but whent ahead and did the full package as well.

Thanks again for the continuing welcomes!

One side note, the roof basket is the standard Subaru "Roof Cargo Basket" (not the "Heavy Duty Cargo Basket") clamped on to the Subaru "Aero" style horizontal bars. When everything arrived, I clamped on the horizontal bars, and thought to myself, "cool!". When I opened the cargo basket box and placed the basket on top of the bars, I started laughing as to how small it is! When I pulled up to my buddy's house to pick him up to go snake hunting, when he came out of his house, he started laughing, pointing at the roof basket and commented as to how small the roof basket is! Hilarious! Last edited by SouthFL_SH; 01-14-2013 at 05:32 PM. |
