Hey everyone, I'm obsessed with Toyotas and could take my 2003 Camry and my mom's 2012 Camry apart and put them back together, but this is the first Subaru in the family. My grandma just bought an 07 Forester 2.5X in white with 51k miles. I'm on here mainly because she wants to change the gauge cluster and clock lights out to white. I have been contemplating doing this mod on my car, a (now quite modded) 2003 Toyota Camry that she gave me last year, but haven't pulled the trigger yet on that. Does anyone know the bulb sizes I'd need to change out the lights on the clock and cluster? I also need to know how to remove the cluster as well as the clock. Any help is appreciated! Also...on a side note, this will become my car if she decides to give up driving (or...you know, worse

Getting to the instrument cluster is very easy, take a look at this write up. It's for adding a ScanGauge II, but it shows how to get to the instrument cluster. As to the clock, take a look at this write up. Again it's for another project, but it shows how to get to the clock. ![]() Some have destroyed their instrument cluster trying to change the lighting color, so proceed with caution! Bobby... Welcome! You'll be much more likely to get answers to your questions in the Interior forum. You can also use the search function (Google custom search under the forum logo at top left of screen works best for general inquiries).

bump. lol i was able to get the cluster out, thanks bobby! i put silver star bulbs in the bigger bulbs, and that seemed to help out a lot. i think its cool that the cluster isnt led...i think later on i will put brighter ones in, maybe a different color.
