Lost my 2004 green Forester x back in November to slippery roads and a ditch. Found out how to get out a seat-belt upside down.
Just picked up a red 2004 Forester XT from Texas and drove it back up to Michigan.
The only things non-OEM on it were the cold air intake and the springs. I had the OEM springs put back due to snow and potholes.
The only work I have done on it myself so far is taking the avcs and turbo oil filters out. But I'm looking forward to taking more ownership in its maintenance in the future.
