I'm down for the photoshoot. If we get enough peeps we should bring food to share and make it a mini-meet. I'll make the fried chicken!!!

Hey Ken- I noticed a couple things about mah Foz after the install. It is definitely smoother when hitting boost, it's not as jarring as before. Tell you the truth its almost like what JCT described in his Cobb Stage1 post.

And it seems to be staying in gear a bit longer than before. Is this normal? I like it and it drives awesome but I'm a little worried that something might be off.

That is interesting. Im pretty sure that the A/T is partially controlled by the mass air flow sensor input. I know on the last A/T equipped vehicle that I owned, when I installed a cold air intake it did affect the shifting of the transmission. Do a search for mods on A/T equipped foresters. You may have to do what you had mentioned yesterday, disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reset the ecu. Also take a picture of the intercooler with all of the associated hoses in the picture. I can take a look and tell you if there are any hoses off that should be connected.
It is probaby just a result of the engine now getting more and cooler air from the larger intercooler.
Keep me updated.

Yeah, I'd let the ECU relearn. Sometimes it takes up to a tank of gas for that to happen. Are you going to get a splitter now, too?

I read that it takes about 200 miles for the ECU to re-learn if you don't flash it. I'm about there so I'll just wait it out, it's just such a different feel than before.

Yeah, I acutally missed out on the subtle-solutions group buy (by a half a month LOL), so I'm looking for one...and brakes...and springs...and an AP...and a sti scoop...and new tires...and a DP...LOL

I saw a guy selling 4/2 pots if you're interested. He's asking $800. Let me see if I can find it.

Note to self:

Leave wheel lock key at home when attending Fud's meet.

Yeah my wheels would look amazing on your car :)

I'll try to get to the September meet but I am not sure that I can.

That or I am starting to plan a fall forester fantastic freeride when the leaves are changing in Sussex County (top left - where I grew up).

I always thought you are supposed to install sway bars with the car weighted (i.e. on the ground or on ramps).

The STi rsb is probably the biggest you would want to go before needing the LLWS but Scotcharu has them on his to buy list.
