Hey Andrew, what did you do with your old TMIC? Mine is has a ton of bent fins and bugs stuck in it...

Just don't have any kids. Then we'll never get to see you.

Then you guys just need to buy a house with a garage setup like your dad's.

I still have it. I'm debating on whether or not to hold on to it in the event I go back to stock to sell the car. I'll let you know if I decide to sell.

Hey - good for you! Looks good - did you notice any increased lag compared to other stage II FXT's with the stock TMIC?

Actually, it seemed that the turbo spooled up faster, but it could just very well be my butt dyno. The only other FXT that I rode in with Stage II is sleeperxt's, but he also has done a lot more (VF39, etc).

Any plans for a protune? Does SleeperXT have a protune or is he running the Cobb VF39 map?

If max6spd gets protuned now he will have to pay again when he slaps on a VF39! Its only a matter of time before he takes the plunge.

I am in the middle of the NASIOC Clark custom tune:) It feels good so far.

What is a Clark custom tune? ANy links?

I skipped stage 2 and basically went from stage 1 to protune VF39. I figured stage 2 would just be a short layover so I held off and did everything all at once.

The turbo does in fact improve spool/ turbo throttle response on your setup. Many performance mags have dyno tested mods on turbo subys. All concluded that a bigger, free flowing down pipe is the single most noticeable and effective modification to be done!

Yeah, but I'm happy with my newfound power that it'll tie me over through the winter. I think I'm going to just troll the boards over the winter to find a VF39/VF43 so I can be ready for the spring. Hopefully, sleeperxt's wife doesn't get mad at him so he can help me with the install.

^^Congrats on getting up to stg 2. I'm jealous. And damn what a sweet garage. I've always wanted one of those lifts! That makes life sooo much easier.
