For those that have asked about the angled pods, they are made by a chap in Australia, he makes them for XT's as well as GT's.

(Yes, the gauges on XT OUT WEST's car and Gump are from the same person)

I'll ask him whether he wants to try and make them for the US Market, but his original idea had the gauges facing straight, before we asked him to modify them to be angled towards the driver.

They fit 52mm gauges, and the compartment does still open, however it would be full of wiring and the like.

The Omori Boost gauge from j-spec tunning with pod rocks! It's the one I have and is 100x's more responsive that the crap LaMco OEM gauge I had in my 02 WRX.

Here's my gauge pod (bezel):

Prosport 52mm oil temp, oil pressure, and volt meter. I initially wanted the white illumination to go with the white on my Scanguage II but I'm digging the amber lights. Big Thanks to SuperRu!!!!

Wow that pod is nice, but WOW that price is crazy. With currency and all it would be about 1G up here.

Yep - comes as standard on the UK FXT - you can get the FSTi version from japanparts altough it's not easy to change from the cup holder version to the non and vice versa as it requires relocation of the head unit

Thanks Mike :)

Here are a couple of pics of my stealth hanging pod located inside the center dash compartment.

My friend, Donnie, who does high end custom sound installation gave me the hook-up. He took on the challenge to fab-up something with the pre-existing compartment. After some fiberglass work, bondo, a layer of carbon fibber, and carpeting. This is what resulted. The gauges are: (First 2) Prosport oil temp and egt, (3rd) AEM UEGO wideband afr.
