Default Busy day modding...UTEC & summer wheels.

Well, Iinstalled my UTEC today. I am running the stage 1 (stock) map, running about 14 lbs. of boost.....it's niiiceee!!
Then it was onto my new wheels/tires: Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 with Toyo Proxes4 tires...245/45/17. The drivers side rear rubs just a tad, I think it's because of the "rim protector" design of the tires. That will soon not be a problem once I put Joe R's Tein coilovers on soon.

any who, on with the pics. I only took two. I'll take more when the car is clean, and the weather is warmer.

The tires rub on the strut? Very nice by the way, like the black on blue.

Yeah, it rubs ever so slightly on the side of the strut.

I thought about that, but I'm changing to coilovers very soon, so that should remedy the rubbing.

Thanks for comments.

Nice!!

Even with coilovers, the extra 3mm will give you a better looking offset, IMO, it's slight, but I can tell the diff.

Did you do 3mm all around or just the rear?, where did you find them....all I can find is 5mm.

yeah, 3mm all around.

I got them from my alignment guy, I can get some if you need/want some. $8 bucks a piece, don't remember if I paid shipping (had to order 'em).

no, it's just been a busy spring so far....haven't had the time. I'm trying to set it up so I can do my whole suspension at one time. That will require quite a chunk of time.

It's coming....I promise.
