'99 forester gets dropped

I figured I'd post up my progress so far. I still have plenty of room to go low... I just need to figure out how to get exhaust tucked up and needs some maintenance before I do so. Hope you dig it.

Nice, very nice. Like the random hot chick in the 4th pic too! About the exhaust, maybe you could look into some after market hangers? Kartboy and etc..

She has yet to ruin the M3 and the bike though.. give it time

I'll look into shorter hangers as well. I was going to have a 2.5" fabbed up from the headers straight back.. finish off with a magnaflow oval 2.5" in / out.

I have roughly another 2 inches to go down front and rear. Just need to remove stuff.. like fender liners, and subframe spacers, and make sure i dont need frame notches (new to subies)

The install is straight forwards.. the front top hats for the 02-07 wrx seem to be a little different than the forester. The bolts lined up with the holes, but my camber adjustment is not at 3-9 like it is supposed to be.. it is actually like 1-7. I need to unbolt and see if i was just stupid that morning and installed them wrong.. or if i need to drill 3 more holes in the strut towers.. or go buy and swap forester top hats.. other than that.. not problems

BTW my impreza ultimos are 9k front / 7k rear and for a daily driver they ride fine. I can drive spirited on the roads if I want , no problems other than tire rubbing. I can't go too crazy as the exhaust is roughly 1" off the ground and I drag it through waterbury daily. Low life: sucks to roll hard.

Sounds like you have GD impreza front top hats. You can rotate them all you want, but they won't line up correctly. You'll need the GC impreza front camber plates for the correct geometry.

Ordered exhaust gaskets, and new hangers all around. I'm hoping that the hangers are worn and I'll be able to raise it up. I will NOT be beaten by a dragging exhaust. Low> all. :rofl

...and CT got some snow with their salt.
