Hey all,
I've been tossing up for a while about purchasing a front strut brace for my MY02 Foz. I want to start doing more off roading too and wasn't sure if it would be a wise investment. I realise the point of a strut brace is to stiffen up the front end. But bearing in mind, this is still my daily. I've heard of a few people who've lifted their Foz and put a strut in to get the best of both worlds. But not many... I was just seeing if anyone else who has done off roading either has one and what are the pros/cons of having a strut brace while off roading. Thanks for your help guys! |

Front strut brace does not make a perceptible difference on a Forester unless you autocross on a low and stiff suspension (e.g., WRX-level with heavy front sway bar).
And for daily driving or off-road/off-payment/rallycross it is pretty much useless. Last edited by Tau137; 12-26-2012 at 07:21 AM. |
