Man that 1st Subaru backfiring was just like when I had my WRX. Rich as hell, GFB fully adjustable BOV (turned to full atm.) and 3" straight pipe, no resonators, cats or muffler. After my gear changes it would bang so loud and you could see the fire. Must mention you could feel it bang the car also!
