I never sit down and figured this out, so here it is:

1) 1985 Fiat 147 (learned to drive on it, in Brazil)
2) 1989 Fiat Uno 1.6R (little Brazilian hot hatch Hot Rod)
3) 1990 Fiat Elba 1.6 (great station wagon, what can I say, I came from a Fiat family)
4) 1990 Ford Ranger 2.3 (first "car" in the US, great little truck, Hurricane Andrew survivor)
5) 1993 Plymouth Acclaim (second worst car I ever had)
6) 1985 Dodge LeBaron Turbo (worst car I ever had)
7) 1987 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v (awesome, fast car, was prepped for autocross before I bought it)
8) 1977 Mercedes 300D (I loved this beast)
9) 1970 Ford Courier (cheapest car and best return for the money, paid $200 for it and drove over 50,000 miles before selling it for $500!!)
10) 1974 Fiat X 1/9 (mid engine hot rod, this one was in excellent shape)
11) 1970 Fiat 850 Spider (I loved this convertible, it was very hard to sell it)
12) 2000 Hyundai Accent GS (first new car, drove 79,000 miles in two years and nothing ever went wrong with it)
13) 2002 Suzuki XL7 V6 (drove this SUV all over the California High Desert for a year, was totaled when some bastard slammed into it when I was in the movies)
14) 1998 Kia Pride 1.3 GLS (first car I bought when I lived in Korea, same car as Ford Festiva, but with 5 doors, great little car, drove it all over Korea and sold it for what I paid for it, $500)
15) 2000 Daewoo Tico (smallest car I ever had, with a 3 cyclinder, 600cc Suzuki engine)
16) 1997 Hyundai Accent GS (third car in Korea, overheated on highway!!)
17) 1993 Hyundai Elantra GS (actually my wife's first car, but I paid for it and drove it more than her, last car in Korea)
18) 2008 Toyota Prius Touring (second new car, bought in January this year, I loved this car, but it's just not a driver's car)
19) 2008 Subaru Forester Sports 2.5 X (I always loved Subarus and when the Army decided to send me to Alaska I made up my mind to get one)

Wow, 19 cars, I had no idea... this was fun, like going down memory lane.

PS: my list was done in order of ownership, from first to last.
