Looking at the plastic trim will cause it to scuff! I had some scuffs when I replaced my head unit. I found that rubbing the surface quickly with a cloth will kinda melt it. Looks better than the raw scuff.
If the area is black, your trusty black permanent marker helps.
As to the silver finished parts, you have to either replace them or paint them. Some on the forum have used "Plasti Dip" spray. I'm a purist so I'd replace the damaged parts, but that's a personal preference...:)
On items that look real bad, you can replace them. Of course it will cost you a left or right "family jewel". Very expensive! If you want prices, shoot Jackie (SubaruPartsGirl) a PM. She a wiz & can find anything you need!
