Turbo Shafted!
If you think that was stupid, try this for size...
Up bright and early, with the intention of fitting Forestier's old TD04 and, after much debate , my recently purchased H&S cat.
I stripped of the old coolant pipes and old oil gasket, and had a thought! Ding! Is the nut on the shaft tight enough? Some of you will guess the rest... tried to tighten it gently, and it came off, reverse thread... tightened it up again, and the shaft felt wobbly, with a bit of play it didn't have before... Tightened it a bit more, and Snap, the shafts busted! great start to the day! Anyonegot a spare shaft and nut sitting around? And a guide to dismantling TD04s, using words of one syllable or less?(preferably in colour)

The irony is, I bought a 0-20 Nm torque wrench on E-bay yesterday...
