Default A Tribeca gets you almost *nowhere* except 16 mpg...

I just checked the volume of a Tribeca, and behind the 2nd seat, it has 37 cubic feet compared to 33 for the 2009 Forester, and 77 cubic feet behind the front seat in the Tribeca compared to 69 for the Forester. The Tribeca, like most crossover SUV's (Ford Edge, etc), weighs 1000 lbs MORE than the Forester. This is stupid for the minimal room that you pick up in today's world given the cost of gas...

An Odyssey has 91 cubic feet behind the SECOND row and 147 behind the first row. My Ford E150 has 237 cubic feet behind the first row....

The EPA ratings of the Tribeca are 16 and 21 mpg, so you take a big mileage hit between the Forester and Tribeca for only a few more cubic feet. I believe the Odyssey EPA mileage is better than the Tribeca on the highway especially.
