Renault 5 GT Turbo midengine is what started my passion for Rally and ultimately for Subaru. When I was 9, I promised myself I would own one, that never materialized but I came remotely close in 1988 when I found a low mileage 1987 Black Renault GTA 2.0 which I regretfully sold a few years later.
And now the modern version of the epic Renault 5, the Clio V6 3.0 Litre, in my perfect car man garage it would rank No. 1, and yes you need to stuff the baby bloke into the bonnet, and be a proctologist to reach the recliner seat adjustments
