At least y'all can wash your cars and wax them. Here in my part of the country, we're still in a bad drought and car washing at home is verboten. Even though my rain gauge shows 1.8 inches of rain today...
Long range forecasts show a drier than normal spring ahead, so I don't expect the water restrictions to ease soon.
Pollen season will be here in a couple of weeks. I'll have to rely on the few remaining open commercial car washes to remove the heavy coat of green that will bury the car. But the days of when I can spend some good "quality" hours of washing and waxing here at home are gone for the time being.
