Where to look for an FSTi

Hello there

For last few months I've been thinking about changing car (again) and this time because I'm planing to move out of London to a place without daily traffic jams and with long and empty roads (Wales) I've decided it's time to say goodbye to diesel engines and get something more ... inspiring, plus it's Wales not central London so snow is more then just an inconvenience for few hours a year, All wheel drive is what I'm looking for and something I always wanted.

So the answer was only one, Subaru. But because I'm not an Impreza guy, I thought Forester 2.5 XT is what I want. And everything was fine till one week ago when new idea called FSTi came to my mind and now I can't get rid of it.

It wasn't easy to find a good 2.5 XT that would tick all my boxes, finding an FSTi is even harder, that's why I want to ask. Where else I can look for apart from obvious places like Autotrader, Ebay, PH and this place of course? Are there some garages/dealers that specialise in such a cars and not advertising on AT and PH?

Thanks for your help.

Had an XT & spent a few £60 s great motor & gotfrom 177 to 302 brake. Loved the Foz to bits,Theeeennnn I got an FSTI!!!

Every day I get into it, I think, thanks Santa cos every. Day is like Xmas. Wales is a brilliant place to appreciate this wonderous bit of kit. Try Llitchfields, they impoted them & were on 5th gear with the little 330 brake version. Just pure dead brilliant motors, a future Classic Car.

Good Luck.

I've been thinking maybe I should get XT and then FSTi later on but I know I will start looking for after a week or so, so I think it will just waste of time.

Thanks for the advice, do you know are they still importing them?

Alan I wanted to ask, what it is with "£60" and what's the "£60 club" mentioned here few times?

At least I know I will not have such a problem mate, when I'm a passenger in my misses Celica sometimes I want to cling to the seat and scream like a girl :D she tried to convinced me I should get an Impreza but everyone can have it, while FSTi is a special car for special people.
